The panel is structured as a temple-like composition, where Lakshmi, Ganesha, and Saraswati are housed within individual pillared mandapas, aligned in a balanced triadic arrangement. This architectural framing becomes the defining presence, lending the composition both order and depth.
Lakshmi is seated on a lotus, four-armed, holding lotuses with her hands in abhaya and varada gestures. At the centre, Ganesha appears in a rare six-armed form, creating a denser visual focus. Saraswati occupies the right shrine, also seated on a lotus, holding the veena, rosary, and scripture, completing the triad with clarity.
Above, each shrine rises into a carved shikhara, drawing from South Indian temple idioms. Celestial attendants hover above the deities, while dancing figures and devotees animate the intermediate spaces. Yali figures guard the outer edges, reinforcing the sanctity of the composition.
The upper register includes Vishnu, Ganesha, Shiva, and Brahma, arranged in a continuous sequence, adding a layered cosmological dimension. Below, a narrow band of lotuses, dwarfs, and lions supports the entire structure.
In wood, the carving achieves remarkable density. Fine detailing gathers shadow within recesses, while polished surfaces catch light, allowing the panel to hold space like a compact shrine, structured, intricate, and visually immersive.
