Lakshmi stands upon an open lotus, the form rising with a gentle shift of weight that introduces grace into the vertical stance. Her posture remains composed yet fluid, becoming the defining presence. The face is rounded and calm, framed by an ornate crown and finely carved jewellery that follow the contours with precision.

In her four arms, she holds lotus bunches in the rear hands, while the front hands extend in abhaya and varada gestures, completing a balanced and clearly articulated form. The drapery falls in controlled patterns, enriched with delicate beaded detailing that enhances the surface without interrupting its flow.

Behind her rises an elaborate kirtimukha aureole, forming a structured backdrop that frames the figure. The central face, along with makara and yali motifs, introduces a dense ornamental rhythm, contrasting with the composed stillness of the goddess. The arch appears to grow outward in layered patterns, enclosing the figure within a defined visual field.

In teakwood, the carving reveals depth and warmth. Light gathers along raised details and settles into recesses, allowing the sculpture to hold space with a steady, luminous presence suited to a prominent interior or shrine.
