Size And Weight Of The Statue Are:
This work holds the scale and presence of a temple image, bringing Tirupati Balaji into a format meant to be stood before rather than viewed at a distance. The figure stands frontal and upright, feet firmly placed, the body held in complete stillness.
One hand is lowered in varada gesture, offering, while the other remains composed, maintaining the symmetry that defines the form. The gaze is direct yet contained, drawing attention without outward movement.
The arch frames the figure closely, with yali forms and a kirtimukha at the apex marking the sanctified space. The draped cloth that descends from the arch falls along both sides of the figure, guiding the eye downward and reinforcing the vertical alignment.
Ornament is organised with precision: the layered jewellery, long malas, and waist elements fall in measured sequence across the torso, while the surface is worked in gold to hold light evenly across the form.
The deep green ground stabilises the figure, allowing the dark body to remain clear and distinct. The stepped pedestal fixes the figure firmly within the frame, anchoring the composition. The outer frame, with its aged gold finish, extends the sense of shrine-like presence, allowing the work to occupy a wall as a singular, frontal encounter.
