A horizontal expanse defines the scene as Vishnu reclines as Sheshashayi upon the coiled Shesha, the serpent’s raised hoods forming a protective canopy. From his navel rises the lotus bearing Brahma, fixing the moment of creation within cosmic repose. At his feet, Lakshmi attends in measured devotion.

The foreground shifts the axis upright. A standing Vishnu appears between Sridevi and Bhudevi, flanked by the guardians Jaya and Vijaya. Above, a domed mandapam rises in dense, embossed gold, with a smaller enshrined Vishnu set at its crest, echoing temple architecture of Tanjore. The presence of a well and tulsi plant introduces auspicious domestic markers, while ritual vessels line the base.
