A disciplined sequence of ten forms unfolds across the panel, each avatar contained within a refined architectural frame and unified by a continuous ornamental rhythm. A lotus-leaf border in muted green and orange tones encloses the composition, while parasol-like motifs crowned with the Vaishnava tilak rise above each figure, reinforcing their shared identity.

Matsya emerges with a human torso and fish body, followed by Kurma in a grounded, compact form. Varaha stands in a poised stance, while Narasimha introduces controlled intensity through his leonine expression.

Vamana appears compact and youthful, holding his attributes with restraint. Parashurama carries the axe with a composed authority, while Rama stands with bow in a balanced, upright posture.

Krishna introduces a fluid softness through the act of playing the flute, contrasted by Kalki, who appears in a more assertive stance. Hayagriva, with the horse head, completes the sequence, marking knowledge and restoration.

Each figure is articulated with layered crowns, ornament, and stylised drapery, rendered in vivid yet controlled colour. Set against a dark ground, the carving gains clarity and depth, allowing form, detail, and surface to emerge with precision.

Placed within a space, the panel reads as a complete visual order, where multiplicity is held within a clear and measured structure.
