Lord Vishnu with Lakshmi in Carved Wood - Large Wall Panel

Vishnu and Lakshmi sit at the centre in composed stillness, forming the stabilising axis around which the entire panel unfolds. Vishnu holds his attributes with measured clarity, while Lakshmi’s presence reinforces prosperity and balance.

On either side, Krishna appears in two distinct forms, one four-armed and the other in a simpler, two-armed fluting posture, creating a subtle variation within symmetry while maintaining continuity of rhythm.

Above, a row of devotees in composed poses introduces a devotional register, their gestures directed inward toward the central pair. Interspersed among them are female figures holding trees, an auspicious motif associated with fertility, growth, and abundance, extending the idea of prosperity beyond the divine into the natural world.
