Wooden Kalyanasundara Relief - The Sacred Marriage of Shiva and Parvati

Shiva and Parvati stand at the centre in a composed, ceremonial stillness, their union framed as an event witnessed rather than narrated. The moment of kalyana sundaram unfolds through gesture, Vishnu, poised beside them, extends his sister’s hand in an act of giving, while Brahma, seated below, anchors the scene as priest.
