This collection brings together the eighteen Siddhars, the foundational adepts of the Tamil Siddha tradition, each represented not as an abstract saint but as a realised presence shaped by discipline, knowledge, and lived practice.

These are not uniform figures. Each Siddhar carries a distinct identity rooted in yogic attainment, alchemical insight, medicine, poetry, and direct experience of the body as a site of transformation.

Agastiyar anchors the lineage with balance and foundational wisdom, while Nandi Devar stands as the primordial transmitter of Shaiva knowledge. Thirumoolar articulates the union of yoga and philosophy, and Bhogar represents the alchemical mastery that bridges matter and spirit. Goraknath and Macchamuni extend the Nath yogic stream, while Sattaimuni and Sundaranandar reflect ascetic refinement.
